1. Finish the “Types of Erosion B” worksheet (if you are not done already)

2. In your Science notebook (IYSN): Write out all the types of erosion and their definitons, group them by their Agents of Erosion. (Hint: This assignment is basically copying the “Types of Erosion A” worksheet we completed in class this past Thursday.)

2013 – Write the following Science Themes and definitions in your Science notebook 3 times each: evolution, explanation, form and function, and measurement.

2013 – Write the following Science Themes and their definitions in your Science notebook 3 TIMES each: change, constancy, equilibrium, and evidence.

Saturday School – September 22

Mr. Arvold will be at Saturday School tomorrow (9-NOON) and available to help any student who is missing Science work or needs any extra help for Science class.

 Please remember that if you are late to SS you will not be allowed in, so plan on being there by 8:50am.

Science Homework – Monday, September 17

TOMORROW is Interim Assessment #1! If you have not finished your review worksheet, you need to have it completed for tomorrow. Once you have it done you have all you need to know for the Interim Assessment.

If you would like to earn back half of the points you missed on last Friday’s quiz you must do the following:

1. Have a parent/guardian sign your original quiz NEXT TO YOUR SCORE.

2. On a separate piece of paper – Write out each question you missed, the whole question.

3. Hand in your original quiz and corrections tomorrow morning when you get to school.

Science Homework – Thursday, September 13

Using the definitions we learned in class today and the results from Monday’s lab, write one “Results SEntence” and one “Summary Paragraph” for tomorrow.

Also remember to study for your quiz on The 4 Question Method, which is also tomorrow.

On the worksheet handed out in class today, make a line graph and a bar graph reporting the results from the “Bubble Gum Lab” on Monday.

Rewrite the definitions for the parts of Experimental Design in your notebook right after today’s notes. For Science Bonus Bucks, copy the definitions more times.

FRIDAY’S QUIZ will be on the “4 Question Method”

In your Science notebook, do the “4 Question Method” using BUBBLE GUM as your subject. Make sure to number each question, write out the complete question and then answer it underneath the question.
